New revealing dialogues from Rubiales in Real v Sevilla game: “Let’s see if we can get rid of them”

The president of the Spanish Football Federation has apparently spoken badly about three La Liga teams in talks leaked to Confidential.

The leaks on Spanish football in the Confidencial newspaper continue, with the president of the federation once again the negative protagonist, Luis Rubiales.

The newspaper published his WhatsApp messages sent during Real’s match against Sevilla at the Santiago Bernabeu on January 18, 2020, in which the Merengues won 2-1, in a game in which the Andalusians violently beat an unrecognized Goal by Luc de Jong protested.

“Let’s see if we can get rid of these annoying specimens,” he wrote to his interlocutor, among other things, and later explained that he couldn’t stand Valencia, Villarreal and Seville.

THE FULL DIALOGUE

  • rubials: “Let’s see if we can get rid of these boring ones. They are my second most disliked team.”
  • interlocutor: “Yes to me too. Valencia and Seville”
  • rubials: “Hahaha. For me in this order: Villarreal, Seville and Valencia. And what are you thinking about? (sb President of Seville) Pepe Castro?”
  • interlocutor: “Another idiot. With Sevillian arrogance, which I think is the best in the world. Clown.
  • rubials: “Hahaha. They’ll throw it at me for VAR”

Joint announcement of the three groups

The publication triggered the immediate reaction of the three groups concerned to the words of the head of the RFEF. Valencia, Villarreal and Sevilla issued a joint statement claiming as much “Dialogue in which he speaks abusively, hostilely and arrogantly about the three clubs is unacceptable” and condemn his behavior.

They express their concerns about the possible impact of the behavior towards the respective clubs and call him “to make amends and publicly apologize to the three teams and their fans”.

Rubiales isn’t the only target for the three teams. The corruption prosecutor’s office has been investigating the Supercopa agreements since May. Strange conversations with Gerard Pique have been revealed in the past, about how Rubiales used RFEF funds for a luxury apartment in central Madrid, how he spied on his rivals through a company and even how he organized a trip to New York to to film professionally to spend a few days of oblivion with his partner.

Real Madrid have 20-year-old Robert Renan on their shortlist for central defense

Real Madrid have suffered a major blow to their central defense due to injuries and one of the things they have on their list ahead of January is the loan of 20-year-old Brazilian central defender Robert Renan from Zenit.

After the serious injuries to David Alaba and Ender Militao, Real Madrid have entered the transfer market to sign a central defender.

One of the cases that the Merengues are considering, according to AS, is 20-year-old Brazilian central defender Robert Renan, who plays for Zenit St. Petersburg. Madrid initially wants to bring him in with a loan and a purchase option for next summer.

The young footballer is exactly the right person to strengthen the Merengues as he is left-footed and can develop into a very good footballer. This particular formula would also satisfy Zenit, but there is a non-football problem.

Groups linked to the Russian state continue to face sanctions from the European Union (and the US) over the military invasion of Ukraine. Specifically, teams cannot receive an amount over 108,000 euros.

Zenit is owned by Gazprom, one of the most famous oil companies (in the world) controlled by the Russian state.

Barcelona is threatened with exclusion from the new Champions League because of FFP

According to the German newspaper “Die Welt”, Barcelona is threatened with exclusion from the new Champions League due to violations of Financial Fair Play. However, the Catalans are not aware of the specific risk.

A few hours after the legal recognition before the Court of Justice of the European Union of the European Super League, a project that Barcelona and Real Madrid have “operated” from the beginning until today, the Blaugrana are in adventure.

A publication by German newspaper Die Welt reports that the Catalans are at risk of being banned from the new Champions League (for up to three years) due to Financial Fair Play violations. Barcelona announced gigantic profits (a whopping 304 million euros), but according to the report, UEFA will audit the finances as the income must only come from “football activities”.

Barcelona reported on its balance sheet revenue from “Barca Studios”, the project that manages the team’s audiovisual material, such as the team’s official channel (Barca TV).

Sources in Barcelona management told Mundo Deportivo that they were unaware of the scenario in question.
