Thibaut Courtois didn’t make it into the game he was trying to make to make it to the Clásico and Andrei Lunin took his place at Real’s home. Frenkie de Jong has been preferred over Gavi for the Barcelona line-up.

Real and Barcelona are ready for the first Clásico of the season (5.15pm, Novasports Prime, live on Sportish), with both managers amassing two key absences.

Thibaut Courtois missed the derby and was ruled out for another Champions League game while Andrei Lunin took his place in goal.

Carlo Ancelotti favors David Alaba in central defence, while Antonio Riediger, who sustained an eye injury against Shakhtar in the Champions League, is on the bench.

For his part, Xavi preferred Frenkie de Jong to Gavi for the center of his lineup. Sergi Roberto took a place at right-back with Barcelona already struggling with many problems at the back due to injuries.

REAL: Lunin, Carvajal, Militao, Alaba, Mendy, Tswameni, Kroos, Modric, Valverde, Benzema, Vinicius

BARCELONA: Ter Stegen, Roberto, Cute, Garcia, Balde, Busquets, Pedri, De Jong, Dembele, Lewandowski, Rafinha
