Benzema misses the game against Girona
Karim Benzema has been left out of the squad for the Girona game and will miss the Merengues’ third straight game through injury.
THE Karim Benzema will miss Real Madrid’s third straight game as he was not included in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad for the Girona game.
The France forward, who recently won the first Ballon d’Or of his career, suffered from “muscle fatigue” in the quadriceps of his left leg and stayed on the pitch.
The World Cup starts in less than a month but Benzema is expected to be a regular in the Tricolor squad for the tournament.
