Seville 0-1 Rayo: Steep landing on the relegation zone
Rayo surprised Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan with a 1-0 win over Sevilla, leaving them in the La Liga relegation zone alongside Cádiz.
Sevilla beat Copenhagen in the Champions League but Rayo proved a tougher opponent. Antoni Iraola’s team prevailed 1-0 at “Ramon Sanchez Pitjuan” and left the Andalusians in the relegation zone level with Cádiz after 12 games in La Liga.
The home side had the ball at their feet for a long time without getting close to Stole Dimitrievsky’s goal. On the other hand, Marko Dmitrovic had more to do, especially with long-range shots where he was out of position.
