Real Madrid want to keep Modric – Kroos duo beyond 2023 as both footballers don’t want to end their football careers.
Toni Kroos is 32 years old, but the time to end his football career is approaching. The German midfielder has a contract with Real Madrid until 2023 and intends to stop playing for the Merengues.
There are several reports that Kroos will not be ruled out at the end of the current season, i.e. after his contract expires. Nevertheless, and if he decides to continue, the Merengues have prepared the proposal to extend his contract, according to Spanish media, which will last until the summer of 2024.
Of course, the same applies to Luka Modric, who has entered his last year of contract. Both have a great image and that’s why Ancelotti wants to have them with him for years to come.
