Puyol on Pique: ‘They were very unfair to you, few have defended the Barcelona shirt like you’
Carles Puyol expressed his love and gratitude towards Gerard Pique (who announced on Thursday that he is quitting football) with a social media post and threw his… spontaneity at Barcelona’s management.
THE Gerhard Pique announced on Thursday (03/11) that he was retiring from football and that the game against Almeria next Saturday would be his last.
The Spanish stopper has not been forgotten by his former teammate (and captain) at Barcelona, Carles Puyol. The 44-year-old former international has expressed his love for Pique while taking a stand against Blaugrana management as he feels he has been treated unfairly.
