Barcelona players wear shirts with Pique’s name ahead of the Almeria game
Gerard Pique will play the final game of his career against Almeria and Barcelona will pay special tribute to one of the most important footballers in modern history.
THE Gerhard Pique will give his last footballing performance in the Barcelona vs Almería match as he announced a few days ago that he is retiring from football.
The Catalans will pay the best possible tribute to the international centre-back, who has made 615 appearances and won 30 titles with Barcelona, to sweeten his final game, which will be played at the Camp Nou.
A few minutes before the cross, a huge banner with the inscription (“Sempr3”), meaning “forever” and bearing the number “3” that Pique has worn at Barcelona over the years.
