Vinicius’ scathing comment on Cadiz’s tough game
Vinicius was deeply irritated by the Cadiz players’ overly energetic performance against Real at the “Bernabeu” and showed his anger in a sharp tweet at the end of the game.
Real broke the Cadiz barrier with a 2-1 win on Thursday night (10/11) to cut the gap to leaders Barcelona to two points in a game set for Carlo Ancelotti’s side as part of La Liga round 14 wasn’t easy.
This is because the Andalusians put the Merengues in a difficult position, who had to wait until the last second to secure the three points while sometimes showing a dynamic game that irritated the home team’s players.
One of them was Vinicius, who conceded five fouls during the game and got on the nerves of several Cádiz players, with Real’s Brazilian striker even striking out once for a foul on team-mate Rodrigo and receiving a yellow card.
“Thank God for an injury-free game” Vinicius wrote a clear reference to the Cadiz players on his personal Twitter account.
His clashes with some of them even prompted a “reaction” as Cádiz’s defensive midfielder Fali declared to TV cameras after the game ended: “There are players who are victims on the pitch. Vinicius told us that we are a second-class team.
In football we say a lot to each other, but there are limits that must not be crossed.”
