Olympiacos want Barcelona’s Alex Koyados, according to SPORT
In the last few hours in Spain, Spanish winger and Barcelona attacking midfielder Alex Coyado has again been linked with Olympiacos.
Olympiacos had scouted Barcelona’s intentions for him last summer Alex Koyadobut the Catalans then preferred to loan the player out to Elche to keep a closer eye on him.
However, in the last few hours in Spain, the Spanish winger and attacking midfielder has been linked again with the Red and Whites, while it has also been stressed that Sassuolo has also expressed an interest in his acquisition.
Coyado failed to earn a spot in Barcelona’s squad last summer and was loaned out to Elche to set up games.
The 23-year-old forward has featured in 10 league and cup games, recording one goal and one assist in the first half of the season. According to a report from Catalan outlet SPORT, his loan deal could be terminated as Olympiacos Sassuolo.
According to the Spaniards, Kogiado can be loaned out to either the Greek champions or the Italian side “He’s considering a change of country in the winter transfer window, even a country, to increase his appearances and performance. The footballer, who is represented by Alex Botines and managerial agency Goal Management, will take a few days to decide on his future.”
Alex Coyado played for Barcelona in friendlies against Juventus and Inter Miami last summer and extended his contract with the Catalans until June 2024 before being loaned out to Elche. The latter committed to taking on 50% of his annual contract, but no purchase option was specified.
The Spanish winger is a product of Barcelona’s academies, with whom he has made two first-team appearances and has been on loan at Granada and Elche.
