Obamayang: ‘When I came to Barcelona I told Dembele he had to stay’
Among other things, Obamayang told Mundo Deportivo that he asked Usman Dembele to extend his contract with Barcelona as he thinks he is an excellent footballer.
Pierre Emerick-Obamayang referred to his coexistence with Usman Dembele in his statements to Catalan Mundo Deportivo and spoke the best of words for the French midfielder.
Barcelona’s Gabonese forward revealed that in his first statements after completing his transfer to the Catalans, he told him to stay. It is recalled that Dembele’s contract expires at the end of the current season, with the two sides having significant differences.
