Barcelona officials call Messi ‘sewer rat’ and ‘hormone midget’
Officials from Josep Maria Bartomeu’s government in Barcelona have held talks in which they berated Lionel Messi and spoke of blackmailing the Argentine on his behalf and Luis Suarez.
Leaks of dialogues “burning” members of Josep Maria Bartomeu’s administration secured El Periodico. WhatsApp chats between former Barcelona officials led to verbal attacks on the likes of Lionel Messi, Gerard Pique and Sergio Busquets, with Bartomeu agreeing with some of them.
The protagonist of the dialogues and attacks is the former head of the club’s legal department, Roman Gomet Pontiand the reason for the concrete discussions was the leak of Messi’s contract to El Mundo in January 2021, which had greatly worried the ‘Blaugrana’ administration.
“Barto, really, you can’t be so nice to that sewer rat. The club gave him everything and he’s committed to establishing a dictatorship of signings, transfers, renewals, sponsors just for him, etc. He will never be able to do that. ” do it but pinto, luis suarez renewal and jordi alba renewal, ansu fati renewal commission (with rodrigo messi agent?) should perhaps be added to his contract? and above all the blackmail and rudeness shown by the club and those of us who work at barcelona face of this hormone dwarf that Barcelona owes its life to. But when something goes wrong (pandemic), you get the legendary message on WhatsApp: “President, cut other people’s salaries, but don’t touch Luis and mine.” I hope he goes under the indifference of the world what that Worst thing that can happen to him (another traitor for money)”.
“Yes”, replied the then Barcelona CEO Oscar Grau. “I agree on many things but Barcelona are ahead and this kind of publication damages the club’s image.” was Bartomeu’s answer.
The panelists concluded that the leak of Messi’s pharaonic contract of €555,237,619 came from the “camp” of Juan Laporta, who was preparing for an election campaign for the Catalans’ presidency, with the participation of the then-vice-president. President Oriol Tomas. However, everyone agrees that the aim of the leak is to get Messi out of Barcelona so the club can escape from his contract “to save 120 million” which equaled Argentina’s annual revenue.
Elsewhere in the dialogue, Bartomeu added that “Often we listened to Leo, but not always. Even in the absence of a pandemic, this treaty is absolutely unacceptable.” and that it accounts for 15% of the club’s revenue.
Attacks on Pique – Busquets
Other players have been targeted by FC Barcelona officials, especially after Bayern’s 8-2 Champions League win. Gomet Ponti attacked Pique and called him out “where… is son”.
In fact, Barcelona’s lawyer sent a letter to Bartomeu, which is also published by El Periodico. “Under your leadership, the club must expect a massive reduction in first-team wage costs, especially after the unprecedented, unthinkable and disgusting behavior of a part of spoiled and insensitive millionaires who refused to agree to the club’s minimal measures to ensure economic viability, regardless of the problems of the world.”
In his letter, Gomet Ponti also spoke of players who should leave the team. “These players have no market value and cannot be transferred (Busquets can be a perfect example). We must release them with minimal compensation and forget that they left the club and did not support it.”

Real Madrid have 20-year-old Robert Renan on their shortlist for central defense
Real Madrid have suffered a major blow to their central defense due to injuries and one of the things they have on their list ahead of January is the loan of 20-year-old Brazilian central defender Robert Renan from Zenit.
After the serious injuries to David Alaba and Ender Militao, Real Madrid have entered the transfer market to sign a central defender.
One of the cases that the Merengues are considering, according to AS, is 20-year-old Brazilian central defender Robert Renan, who plays for Zenit St. Petersburg. Madrid initially wants to bring him in with a loan and a purchase option for next summer.
The young footballer is exactly the right person to strengthen the Merengues as he is left-footed and can develop into a very good footballer. This particular formula would also satisfy Zenit, but there is a non-football problem.
Groups linked to the Russian state continue to face sanctions from the European Union (and the US) over the military invasion of Ukraine. Specifically, teams cannot receive an amount over 108,000 euros.
Zenit is owned by Gazprom, one of the most famous oil companies (in the world) controlled by the Russian state.

Barcelona is threatened with exclusion from the new Champions League because of FFP
According to the German newspaper “Die Welt”, Barcelona is threatened with exclusion from the new Champions League due to violations of Financial Fair Play. However, the Catalans are not aware of the specific risk.
A few hours after the legal recognition before the Court of Justice of the European Union of the European Super League, a project that Barcelona and Real Madrid have “operated” from the beginning until today, the Blaugrana are in adventure.
A publication by German newspaper Die Welt reports that the Catalans are at risk of being banned from the new Champions League (for up to three years) due to Financial Fair Play violations. Barcelona announced gigantic profits (a whopping 304 million euros), but according to the report, UEFA will audit the finances as the income must only come from “football activities”.
Barcelona reported on its balance sheet revenue from “Barca Studios”, the project that manages the team’s audiovisual material, such as the team’s official channel (Barca TV).
Sources in Barcelona management told Mundo Deportivo that they were unaware of the scenario in question.
