Complaint with photo from Atletico about referee in derby with Real: “This is our striker’s leg”
Shortly after Angel Correa was sent off in the derby against Real, Atlético tweeted a complaint about the referee and posted a photo of the Argentine striker’s injury.
In the 1-1 derby against Atlético at the Santiago Bernabeu, it was 18-year-old Alvaro Rodrigo who came on as a substitute in the 82nd minute and redeemed Real by equalizing in the 85th minute.
The “rojiblancos” who were left with a player less than 64′ as o Correa was sent off with a direct red card for elbowing Antonio Riediger to get a better position, they tweeted via the referee.
They posted a photo of Correa’s leg and wrote: “This is our striker’s foot. Nothing new at the Bernabeu.”

Marcos Llorente scored the only goal in Atletico’s injury-time win over Sevilla, lifting them to third place in La Liga, ahead of Barcelona.
