Barcelona made it easy against Valencia, they were ten in the 59th minute, they failed on penalties but they won 1-0 at the Camp Nou, keeping a big gap to Real.

Everything looked perfect for Barcelona, but the referee’s final whistle brought relief to FC Barcelona 1-0 against Valencia as part of the 24th match day of La Liga.

It all happened in the first quarter of the 2nd half and while the hosts were in front of goal from 15′ with Rafinha’s goal after a wonderful assist from Sergio Busquets, they had the upper hand.

The game was restarted when the Blaugrana won a penalty for a handball from Hugo Guillaume and Ansu Fati, who was negotiating the execution with Ferran Torres. The latter took over the execution in the end, but sent the ball over the post and out of bounds.

In the next phase it was Fati’s turn to send the ball to the post and in the 59th minute everything turned upside down. A mistake by Gilles Coude forced Ronald Araujo into an illegal cover and received an immediate red card.

With a man down, Xavi Fati sacrificed to bring in Marcos Alonso, who played in a 6-3-0 formation for half an hour.

But even with an additional player, Ruben Baraja’s “bats” couldn’t threaten Marc Andre ter Stegen’s goal, so it was 1-0 at the Camp Nou until the end.
