Ederson: ‘There’s a big chance Ancelotti will take over Brazil’
Ederson has claimed that Carlo Ancelotti is very likely to take over the Brazil national team and said he spoke to the Italian manager’s Real Madrid players and La Seleção team-mates Casemiro, Vinicius and Militao.
Brazil are looking for their next coach following the departure of Tite after the end of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
His name last February Carlo Ancelotti is linked to the Seleção, ESPN reports that the Real Madrid coach will be in charge of the national team from July 2023.
A few hours later, however, the country’s football association denied the report.
A month later, Manchester City’s Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson stated that the Italian technician was very likely to become the team’s new manager.
“I spoke to Casemiro, Vinicius and Militao. It is very likely that Carlo Ancelotti will become Brazil’s new coach.
We will try to eliminate Real so they can come to Brazil as soon as possible.” he said smiling and added:
“I’ve been told he’s brilliant, everyone likes him, he’s a winner. We’ll see if that’s the case in the near future.”
