From wines and toasters to sumptuous meals, Negreira gifts referees with Barcelona money
El Mundo revealed some of the lavish gifts Negreira gave the referees with the money he received from Barcelona. Toasters, wines, tickets, blankets, sumptuous meals were some of them.
Barcelona will join two of their former presidents, Josep Maria Bartomeu and Sandro Rochelle, in the dock in the Negreira case.
Negreira is said to have received almost €7,000,000 from 2001 to July 2018 to act as Barcelona’s adviser in arbitration proceedings, the club and the referee’s claim.
El Mundo released different bills and revealed the different ones he presented generous gifts to the referees with the money secured by Negreira from the Catalan club.

Lots of bills show that Negreira took the opportunity to invite the referees to lunch in well-known restaurants in Madrid and Barcelona, where he paid more than 2,000 euros.
