Frenkie De Jong is suffering from hamstring problems in his right leg and is expected to be sidelined for around 15 days, meaning his Copa del Rey semi-final second leg against Real at the Camp Nou is in doubt.

Injuries continue to plague Xavi Hernandez and Frenkie De Jong has been placed on the absentee list ahead of the crucial follow-up.

The Dutch midfielder, who is not in the ‘Oranie’ reputation, has remained in Barcelona facilities. The tests he underwent showed he sustained a biceps femoris injury in his right thigh and is expected to be out for around 15 days, according to Spanish media.

That effectively means he’s in doubt for the second semi-final (the 1-0 replay of the first leg) against Real Madrid for the Copa del Rey on April 5. The Spaniards reckon the Dutch midfielder will do whatever it takes to be available for Xavi Hernandez. Apart from this particular clash, Pedri, Dembele and Christensen are absent.
