Barcelona issued a powerful statement demanding Tempas’ resignation
The Negreira scandal Barcelona are said to be involved in has confronted them with Javier Tebas, with the Blaugrana demanding the resignation of the Spanish FA’s president on Monday (3/4).
Former Spanish referee and member of the Spanish Referees Committee Enriques Negreira is said to have received nearly €7,000,000 from Barcelona between 2001 and July 2018, with Blaugrana claiming the money was given to give them an advisory role in arbitrations, but it is under control now.

“The title of La Vanguardia is wrong. We have not blamed anyone. The editorial itself confirms this by emphasizing what the letter to the prosecutor says. This letter also does not imply any specific charges against anyone.
Mr. Javier Gondo (current editor of the newspaper Vanguardia), keep an eye on your slanderous journalists”, stressed the strongman of the Spanish league, adding more grist to the mill of his tough confrontation with Barcelona managers.

Marcos Llorente scored the only goal in Atletico’s injury-time win over Sevilla, lifting them to third place in La Liga, ahead of Barcelona.
