Ancelotti on Xavi complaints: “There is a protocol, we have to respect it”
When asked if La Liga games should be postponed due to the pandemic, Carlo Ancelotti replied that there was a protocol that must be followed.
Xavi complained about La Liga and the fact that he did not postpone the Barcelona game against Mallorca despite the many coronavirus cases on both teams.
Carlo Ancelotti was asked about the incident in the press conference on Real’s game against Getafe (2/1, 15:00, NOVASPORTS PRIME, LIVE Sportish) and also whether La Liga games should be postponed due to the corona virus.
The meringue coach stressed that there was a log but stressed that the pandemic was under control: “It’s a complicated subject. I respect everyone’s opinion. There are some teams that are affected. We saw it in the game against Bilbao. There is a protocol and we have to respect it.”
If the protocol stays the same, we’ll have to keep playing. The pandemic is now under control. “I’ve heard a lot of scientists say that and I think we’re fine.”
