Coute cleared the clouds on his Barcelona future: ‘I’m not going anywhere’
Barcelona’s France centre-back Gilles Cute made it clear in a post on Twitter that he is not leaving the Catalans.
Gilles Coute celebrated winning La Liga in his first year at Barcelona but reports have emerged in recent days that the France centre-back has asked to leave the club.
The 24-year-old centre-back made a post on social media in which he made it clear he has no intention of running away. “be clear. I never asked to go, so I’m not going anywhere‘ he wrote, tellingly.
Kute was annoyed that he was used as a right-back during the season as he himself prefers to play as a stopper and has shared this with Xavi. However, this is not a reason to make him leave the team.
