Newcastle found it with Atletico for Tripier for 14.5 million euros plus bonus
Newcastle has reached an agreement with Atletico to take over Kieran Tripier, which, according to Sky Sports, will offer Rochiblancos € 14.5 million plus bonuses.
The first transfer from Newcastle after the management change is taken for granted in England, with Sky Sports revealing that the “Buzzards” at Atletico have found everything they need to take over the 31-year-old extreme defender Kieran Tripier.
The England international has a contract with the Spanish club for another year, with both sides finally negotiating the final details of the deal.
According to the report, the deal was reached with Newcastle willing to take € 14.5m plus bonuses out of the box office to recreate the 31-year-old. Tripier came to Madrid in the summer of 2019, Tottenham received 22 million euros from his transfer.
The Englishman is expected back in the next few days to travel to his hometown to undergo medical examinations and to be officially announced by the association.
