Barcelona: Dembele doesn’t cut his salary and sees the exit door
Usman Dembele is expected to leave Barcelona as he does not cut his salary to sign a new deal. Juventus is lurking, other teams are waiting in the corner.
When Usman Dembele signed for Barcelona in 2017 after an impressive season with Borussia Dortmund, expectations were very high and everyone expected that he would … make a start at Blaugrana. Some of the numerous injuries he sustained, some of his mentality problems did not allow him to get to where everyone expected.
He is currently in talks with the Catalans to sign a new deal, but on reduced salaries to make room for newly acquired Ferran Torres to enroll on the La Liga register. But he doesn’t seem very touched and doesn’t “discount” his wishes, insists on his earnings.
The French international striker is now on the doorstep, as there is neither the willingness to pour water into his wine on his side, nor Barcelona to give him the same money that he is getting now. Juventus lie in wait to make it their own while other teams wait in the corner and Debe appears to want to change the environment.
