Bellingham: “My legs were shaking as the fans chanted ‘Hey Jude’.”
In his first game at the Santiago Bernabeu, Jude Bellingham turned Real’s tide against Getafe with a goal in the 95th minute and revealed he trembled when he heard fans chant ‘Hey Jude’ in the final.
Jude Bellingham scored in his fourth game for Real, this time in added time in their 2-1 comeback win over Getafe.
In fact, it was the first time the 20-year-old Englishman had played at the renovated Santiago Bernabeu, who revealed after the game’s final that he had never experienced a more powerful moment in football than this one.
“The moment of the goal is the loudest I’ve ever heard. When the fans sang “Hey Jude,” I wanted to stop and listen. My legs were shaking. You caught me for these moments” explicitly stated and added:
