Pique has released his income and denied the report that he is the highest paid

The actual money was much lower than was reported in a post on Friday morning (January 7th), which irritated both the 34-year-old stopper and Barcelona themselves.
A Spanish publication caused a stir in Spain regarding the salaries Barcelona footballers receive annually, emphasizing that the team’s three leaders receive the highest salaries despite having agreed to cut their salaries.
The publication states that Pique is the highest paid football player in Barcelona, receiving 28 million euros annually. However, like the Blaugrana, the 34-year-old stopper reacted to this post and posted on his social media the installment of his contract, which he had received on December 30, in the amount of 2.3 million euros.
At the same time, the Spanish center-back attacked those who spread the news, stressing that they are trying to help some of their friends.
