Alves challenged Messi to surpass him in trophies
Danny Alves challenged his former teammate and good friend Lionel Messi to eventually overtake him in trophies, with the Argentine star just four points behind.
Paris Saint-Germain has also been France’s math champion since Holy Saturday (23/4), with Lionel Messi adding another trophy to his already rich collection.
Danny Alves, in a post on social media, compared the titles he’s won in his career to those that Messi has and urged him to surpass him.
The Brazilian defender has 43 trophies in total and is the footballer with the most titles in history, only four more than the Argentine, who is currently second.
“If one day they surpass you, let someone better do it”, wrote her defense attorney, among others Barcelona.
