Marcelo: “Real will understand, the Copa Libertadores is my most important title”
Marcelo’s Fluminense have won the first Copa Libertadores in their history, with the Brazilian, who has a total of 28 trophies to his name, insisting it is the most important one for him.
Marcelo celebrated winning the Copa Libertadores with Fluminense, who returned to the final of the competition after their defeat in 2008, fulfilling their duty at the Maracana and beating Boca 2-1 in extra time.
Somehow, the Brazilian achieved 28 trophies in his football career. Although he became European champion five times with Real Madrid and won the Champions League, the title that stands out is the Copa Libertadores.
