Macara in Bilbao, in the 90+8 minute Berenger gave Athletic 4-3 Celta three points

In a sensational game, Athletic beat Telta 4-3 thanks to a penalty from Berenger in the 90+8 minute and stayed at the top of La Liga.

Tasos Duvika’s side, an 89th-minute substitute, equalized in the 66th minute with Larsen making it 3-3, and Iago Aspas missed a penalty in the 72nd minute to put Telta ahead.

The visitors managed to take the lead in the 25th minute with a goal from Iago Aspas, but the home team reacted quickly and Sunset equalized 1-1 with a penalty in the 37th minute. However, Telta took the lead again in the 41st minute through Baba.

In the fifth minute of first-half stoppage time, Guruzella equalized again for Athletic after an assist from Ignacy Williams, while the same player gave his team a 3-2 lead in the 52nd minute.

Larsen made the final score 3-3 in the 66th minute after an assist from Aspas. As we have already written, Aspas missed a penalty in the 72nd minute and the game was finally decided 4-3 in the 90th + 8th minute after Berenger’s precise penalty.
