Villarreal – Osasuna 3-1: Hat trick from Morales and substitution from Marthelino in front of Panathinaikos
Jose Luis Morales’ hat-trick on Marthelino’s La Liga debut as Villarreal set up victory against Osasuna ahead of the crucial game against Panathinaikos.
Villarreal found a good phase after a while and after qualifying for the cup with Marthelino’s debut on the bench, they also managed to win La Liga, with 3-1 on her Osasuna for the 14th matchday.
The star of the game was Jose Luis Morales, the 36-year-old striker who started in a 4-4-2 with Gerard Moreno alongside him and responded with a hat-trick. Morales opened the scoring in the 57th minute, scored again in the 71st minute and despite Catena’s equalizer, Morales was unstoppable and sealed the victory in the 80th minute.

Marcos Llorente scored the only goal in Atletico’s injury-time win over Sevilla, lifting them to third place in La Liga, ahead of Barcelona.
