The Granada and Athletic captains left flowers where the unfortunate fan sat
An emotional moment in Los Carmenes before the restart as Granada and Athletic captains Victor Dias and Iker Muniain laid a wreath in memory of the fan who lost his life before the restart.
The game between Granada and Athletic was abandoned in the 17th minute when a fan (named Antonio Trujillo) suffered a heart attack and eventually breathed his last.
The game continued the next day, but before kick-off, the first captains of the two teams (Victor Diaz and Iker Muniain) went together to the pitch where the unfortunate fan was sitting and left a bouquet of flowers as a souvenir.
Everyone in the stands was touched and stood up to applaud the two footballers.
