Barcelona gave Dembele 48 hours to make up his mind otherwise sell him
Barcelona’s patience with Usman Dembele is at an end as ‘Blaugrana’ give him 48 hours to respond to the extension proposal they made him, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Usman Dembele’s case at Barcelona seems to be coming to an end as the Catalan club await the French winger’s final decision on the team’s future.
The 24-year-old winger, who still has a contract until next summer, is the focus of the Blaugranas, who want to expand their cooperation with him. However, one obstacle to the negotiations between the two sides seems to be the economic part, as the Spanish team’s proposal doesn’t satisfy the France international.
However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona haven’t received any definitive answer, positive or negative, from Dembele or his agent. For this reason and because, as the report says, she does not want to give the Frenchman another deadline, she has given him a deadline of two days.
Dembele will therefore be asked by Wednesday (19/01) to make a final decision because if he doesn’t, his stance will be interpreted as a negative response from the Catalans, who will start the process of selling him in January. It’s also reminded that the 24-year-old doesn’t want to leave Camp Nou during the winter transfer window. but he wants to end his contract, which expires in the summer.
