MARCA: ‘Azar doesn’t want to leave Real’
MARCA has denied reports from England that Eden Hazard has decided to continue his career away from Real and return to the Premier League, saying the Belgian wants to stay in Madrid and fight.
Real have opened the door to Eden Hazard who has watched their last three La Liga and Supercopa games from the bench. The Belgian striker is not in Carlo Ancelotti’s main plans and that’s well known.
As a result, the ‘meringues’ put the 31-year-old on the market as his sale would make way for the salary cap as the Spanish club look to land Killian Ebape and Erling Halland next summer.
Although reports in England said that Azar had decided to leave Real to return to the Premier League with Chelsea as the predominant target for him, Marca denied this scenario and stressed that the Belgium international doesn’t want to leave Madrid.
Instead, he would rather continue at Madrid until the end of the season as his contract expires in 2024 and beyond. to assess the possibility of his possible departure.
