Dembele trained with the team and awaited his future
Usman Dembele was a regular at today’s (22/01) training session in Barcelona despite the fact that his relationship with the Catalan government is at an end due to the non-renewal of his contract.
Usman Dembele took part in Barcelona’s training session ahead of the Alaves game, but it won’t count towards it as his future is still open on the current transfer market.
The France midfielder has been in negotiations with the Catalans for five months and has exhausted their patience, as Xavi explained in a previous press conference.
However, he stressed that he is not giving in to the blackmail and that the negotiations are continuing and due to the manipulations of him and his agent in the new part, they are coming under the spotlight of the press that has targeted him.
International media reports that one of the possible goals of the French international is Chelsea and “meeting” with Thomas Tuchel after their joint course in Dortmund.
