Ancelotti: “Azar counts for next season”
Carlo Ancelotti denied the reports that Real intend to sell Aden Hazard, clarifying that the Belgian striker is included in his plans for next season.
Eden Hazard’s whereabouts at Madrid remained uncertain, according to the latest reports, as did Real opened the exit door for the Belgian international.
The media in Spain claimed the ‘meringue’ put the 31-year-old on the market as his sale would make way for the salary cap as the Spanish club look to take on Killian Ebape and Erling Halland next summer.
In fact, Azar has made 17 appearances with the Madrid shirt this season, only seven of which were in the starting XI. However, Carlo Ancelotti wanted to put an end to the scenarios that await the Belgium international at Real.
In the press conference, the Italian coach stressed in view of the game against Elche (23.1.): “Yes, Azar will be counted for next season.”
