Killian Ebape is one of the names Barcelona had at the top of their transfer list but as GOAL revealed, Catalonia now believe Real are on pole position and that both sides have already reached an agreement.

Barcelona seem increasingly convinced they will lose the battle to take over Killian Ebape as they believe Real have the lead and pole position.

The French star’s name has been featured heavily in the Spanish press in recent months, with reports claiming he is a transfer target from Barcelona and Real. Of course, this special task seemed difficult for the “blaugrana” from the start.

At every opportunity given to him by La Liga president Javier Tempas, he pointed to the Catalan club’s difficult financial situation and stressed that he had no opportunity to sign Ebape. As GOAL reveal, Barcelona are convinced that the young forward has already signed a contract with the Madrilenians.

“It would be very difficult for Florentino to lose Ebape now. They must have signed something.” said a senior Catalan official, but whose name has not been revealed to the media.

All of this at a time when Paris Saint-Germain appear to be on the rise, with the Paris sporting director appearing particularly optimistic about the 23-year-old’s contract extension.
