Pochettino: ‘Ebape is ours, what is heard is speculation’
Two days before the second leg between Paris Saint-Germain and Real in the “16” of the Champions League, Mauricio Pochettino stressed that everything discussed about Killian Ebape’s future is “speculation”.
Mauricio Pochettino does not yet know if Killian Ebape will be available for the replay of Paris Saint-Germain vs Real (9/3) to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Champions League. The French star has been injured and his participation will be judged on the basis of the new trials that will be submitted in the next few hours.
The 23-year-old is one of Paris’ best ‘weapons’ and the club are keen to develop their relationship even though Spain take his move to Madrid as a given.
At the same time, the Argentine coach spoke of “speculation” to the Spanish news agency (EFE).
“I understand that the media needs news about one of the best footballers in the world, but he is our player and we hope he will be for a long time.
Everyone talks, but you have to listen to him. He has already stated that it is not time to choose. Everything else is conjecture and conjecture that may be far from reality.
“Killian lives in the present, he does what he does and that’s an important quality that he has as a person.” concluded the coach of the Parisians in the EFE.
