“The Paris government wants to get rid of Neymar”
The Parisian government have reportedly reached their limits regarding Neymar’s behavior and want to get rid of him.
Paris Saint-Germain spent €222m to acquire Barcelona’s Neymar in the summer of 2017. However, the 30-year-old Brazilian hasn’t performed as expected and is actually a frequent source of trouble.
The latest incident happened when the Parisians were excluded from Real. A Marca post spoke of a fight in the dressing room between Neymar and Donaruma, with the Brazilian reacting a little later and denying the incident in a particular way.
However, according to journalist Romain Molina, the Paris administration has been quite patient with the Neymar case. She even thinks of getting rid of him.
Neymar’s contract with Parley expires in the summer of 2025 with an option to extend it for another year. He has featured in 19 games in all competitions this season, scoring four goals and providing five assists.
