Pochettino for Messi: “Unless he’s negative, he can’t travel to France”
Mauricio Pochettino stated that he will not be able to return to France until Lionel Messi is negative on the coronavirus tests. Doubtful for the league game with Lyon.
Paris Saint-Germain will have to do without Lionel Messi in the first few days of the new year, as the Parisians announced that in the last coronavirus tests submitted by the team, both “Pulga” and Sergio Rico, Juan Bernat and Nathan Bitumaz tested positive.
Mauricio Pochettino said in the press conference about today’s cup game with Van (22:10, Novasports 2HD and LIVE by Sportish): “THAT Messi tested positive in Argentina. Unless he’s negative he can’t go to France and we’ll see when that happens.
We have lived with this virus for almost two years and everyone knows what to do to prevent transmission. But much of how this virus works is still unknown. Regarding Messi, he is in contact with our medical services. “I don’t know if he can play in Lyon.”
