New Monaco coach Philip Clement
Philippe Cleman is the successor to Niko Kovac on the bench in Monaco, the French club announced on Monday (3/1) the beginning of its collaboration with the 47-year-old coach.
The new Monaco coach from Monday (3/1) is Philip Cleman, who will replace Nikos Kovacs, who was dismissed from the Monegasque on December 30th. After signing a three-year contract, the 47-year-old technician will take over the technical management until summer 2024.
Until 2019, Clement was the coach of Bruges from 2019, which resulted in two titles in a row in 2020 and 2021. Last Friday (December 31st) there were long negotiations between sports director Paul Mitchell and the Vice-President of Monaco, Oleg Petrov and the Bruges administration to find the “golden section”.
