Reims pays Donis generously but doesn’t give him time
Tassos Donis doesn’t have much time to participate in Reims this season, but he is very high on the list in terms of the monthly salaries of the French team’s players, based on data released by Equipe.
Equipe conducted a major survey of the major French football leagues and revealed the monthly salaries of Ligue 1 players (these estimates are gross monthly salaries and therefore do not include bonuses), with Paris’ many glamorous names having a dazzling appeal.
In terms of Greek interest, Orestis Karnezis is 8th in the list of Lille’s highest-paid players, despite counting just one appearance in the last two years, while Tassos Donis tops Reims’ equivalent list.
Yes, he doesn’t have the attendance he desires as he has played 536 minutes in all competitions (16 games – 1 goal), yet he is the second highest paid player for Oscar Garcia’s team with a monthly salary of €60,000, so a lot of money, like Fokket and Raikovic earn.
Only the Algerian stopper and leader of Reims, Younis Albehamid, and Valon Berisha, who both receive the amount of 80,000 euros a month, are above the extreme of the 25-year-old in terms of financial earnings.
It is recalled that Donis signed a four-year contract at Reims in the summer of 2020, while he previously played for the youth teams of Juventus, Lugano, Nis, Stuttgart and Venlo (on loan from Reims last season).
