Strasbourg 1-1 Paris: Messi’s goal earned him the point and the French championship

Paris got the point they needed and a 1-1 draw at home in Strasbourg saw them crowned French champions for the eleventh time.

Paris were crowned French champions for the eleventh time in their history following the draw 1-1 at his headquarters Strasbourg on the 37th matchday of Ligue 1.

The Parisians nervously took the pitch and played under the watchful eye of President Nasser al-Khelaifi. Strasbourg were better, had chances but failed to capitalize on them and take the lead.

The visitors’ first good moment came in the 29th minute through Renato Sanchez, but it was the individual quality of some players that made the difference despite the flow of play.
