Strasbourg 1-1 Paris: Messi’s goal earned him the point and the French championship

Paris were crowned French champions for the eleventh time in their history following the draw 1-1 at his headquarters Strasbourg on the 37th matchday of Ligue 1.

He soon had a chance to increase his assists as well, but the French forward failed to score, leaving the Argentinean with 16 goals and 16 assists in Ligue 1, ‘securing’ the Paris title before leaving the club .
