Tudor has informed his players that he wants to leave Marseille
According to Footmercato, Igor Tudor announced to his players on Thursday (1/6) that he no longer wants to stay at Marseille in the new season and wants to leave the club.
Marseille stayed another season away from the titles, finishing in third place and thus securing participation in the Champions League qualifying stage.
However, it is not certain that the Marseilles will continue in the new season with Igor Tudor, who took over the team last summer.
The Croatian coach’s contract runs until 2024, but according to Footmercato he announced his wish to leave the club during training on Thursday morning (1 June).
For their part, club management tried to persuade him to stay, but that seemed impossible as the 45-year-old was determined not to fulfill his contract.
