Neymar: Al Hilal lost Messi and breaks the bank for the Brazilian
Al Hilal have failed to lure Lionel Messi to Saudi Arabia but are trying to do the same with Neymar in another mammoth deal.
The Lionel Messi project failed for her Al Hilal, but life goes on. A club agent from Saudi Arabia traveled to Paris on Friday to meet with the people of another Paris star, Neymar, CBS Soccer reported.
The Brazilian has been on the French champions’ loan list since last summer but the deal until 2025 places high demands on the club and there is not much interest in his takeover.
Despite being injured since February, he’s on the radar of the Saudis, who seem ready to offer him a deal on the same level as… Cristiano Ronaldo, so around €200,000,000 a year. Paris will be compensated with an amount of 45,000,000, according to the publication, although the French are expecting to get back at least a third of the 222,000,000 they spent on the Brazilian in 2017.
RMC Sport confirmed the American media’s report but added that Neymar’s entourage have stated that the 31-year-old Brazil captain’s priority is to stay in Europe.
Also, Qatar are trying to buy Manchester United and if they succeed their first goal is to get Neymar from the other side they control in Europe.
