Mbappe: “Paris is my only option at the moment, I’m ready to prepare”
Kylian Mbappe was already asked to raise his Paris contract issue at the press conference ahead of France’s clash with Gibraltar.
Representing the French national team ahead of the Euro 2024 Group 2 qualifier against Gibraltar, Kylian Mbappe inevitably had to deal with the question of not renewing his contract with Paris Saint-Germain.
“I’ve already answered that question. My goal is to stay in Paris next season. That’s my only option at the moment. I’m ready to return to summer training. I hope the next questions relate to tomorrow’s game.” He explained at first but…was turned down.
The next question concerned the letter he sent to Paris announcing that he would not exercise his right to extend his contract for another year.
“This letter was not sent during the national teams’ break, but earlier. I didn’t think a letter could kill someone. After these reactions, I don’t care. Nothing surprises me anymore.”
