Messi had urged Mbappe to join Real: ‘Do it, you deserve a winning project’
Lionel Messi advised Kylian Mbappe to join Real Madrid shortly before his departure from Paris Saint-Germain if that’s what he really wants.
It is now known that Kylian Mbappe will not renew his contract at Paris Saint-Germain. The Parisians have a choice of letting him go in the summer and putting money in their coffers, or keeping him next year and risking losing him on a free transfer.
The French star is closing in on Real who are expected to offer €120m to make him their club.
Just before leaving Paris, Lionel Messi urged his former teammate to leave Paris and go to Madrid, according to defensacentral.
“I’d rather go to Barcelona but if you want to go to Real then do it, you deserve a Real.” victorious Project”, were the Argentine’s words to Mbappe.
