Hakimi candidate to replace Walker at Manchester City
Manchester City have identified Azraf Hakimi as a replacement for Kyle Walker at right-back.
Kyle Walker is expected to leave Manchester City as he is close to a move to Germany for Bayern Munich.
Citizens won’t be left idle and according to a MARCA publication, one of the highlighted cases is that of Paris Saint-Germain’s Azraf Hakimi as the Moroccan full-back enjoys Pep Guardiola’s esteem.
Hakimi has a contract with the Parisians until 2026 but if he wishes it himself, City’s task will be easier. At 24 he is a footballer with a lot of progression and experience from the top leagues and therefore has the package that Guardiola likes.
He made 39 appearances in all competitions last season, having played for Real, Inter Milan and Dortmund in the past.
