Asensio will officially stay in Paris until 2026
Marco Asensio has officially been a Parisian player since Thursday (July 6th), who completed his transfer after a verbal agreement with the Parisians and signed until 2026.
Real Madrid release Marco Asensio has reached a verbal agreement with Paris Saint-Germain, who announced the start of their partnership on Thursday (7/6).
The 27-year-old has signed a contract with the Parisians until 2026 and will move to Paris.
Asensio wore a Real shirt for the first time in the summer of 2016 and switched from Mallorca in December 2014.
He stayed in the Balearic Islands on loan during the 2014-2015 season and also played for Espanyol in 2015-2016.
He won a total of 17 trophies in seven full seasons at Real but a serious injury in 2019/20 halted his development.
In recent years he has lost his place in the starting XI and although he has made 50 appearances this year with 12 goals and eight assists, he was not satisfied with the minutes played and therefore sought retirement.
