Christophe Gaultier wanted to write a letter to thank Paris Saint-Germain managers and offer his best wishes to the team’s new coach, Luis Enrique.

Luis Enrique is the new coach of Paris Saint-Germain from Wednesday (5 July) and replaces Christophe Gaultier on the Paris bench.

The France coach, who has left Paris, wanted to thank his management, partners and players but also send his best wishes to Enrique for his new role in the team.

“At a time when a new chapter was beginning for Paris, I wanted to say ‘thank you’ at the end of this intense season.”

First of all, thank you to “my” players who were amazing and kept their promise to win this historic eleventh title.

I would like to thank the sports management and my technical team for their support. Thank you to the team behind the team (business and organization) for being so important and dedicated.

Thank you to the medical department, that is very valuable. And most importantly, I thank President Nasser Al Khelaifi for his constant, unwavering support, especially during the most difficult of times.

I sincerely wish Paris a strong season and good luck for Luis Enrique.
