Paris have failed to climb to the top of Europe despite the heavy spending, with Mauricio Pochettino comparing the Parisians’ presence in the Champions League to Juventus and Manchester City.

Real’s Champions League ban this year has come in the big chain with the constraints Paris have endured at European level in recent years and one of the people who has come under relentless criticism of late has been Mauricio Pochettino.

For his part, the Argentine coach was keen to face up to his responsibilities and, in a press conference, compared the Parisians’ presence at the institution to that of Manchester City and Juventus, who respectively have not been able to become as European as they would like.

“So far, Paris have reached the Champions League semi-finals and final, so we are in the middle of a process that will take time.

“There are also clubs like Juventus and Manchester City who both want to win the Champions League but cannot achieve what they are working for.”so significant with regard to the championship game on Sunday (April 3rd, 9:45 p.m., Novasports 2HD and LIVE by Sportish) with Lorient.

It is recalled that Juventus has twice won the Champions League, but the last success was in 1996 and also lost seven finals, while Manchester City failed to win the trophy despite sweeping the Premier League for five years, even if it lost in the final against Chelsea last season.
