Nantes coach: “Augusto will probably be in our squad on Sunday”
Nantes boss Pierre Aristou has left open the possibility that Augusto will be in the squad for the Toulouse game. The transfer of the (unforeseen) former midfielder from PAOK is not yet officially complete.
Nantes coach Pierre Aristo referred to Douglas Augusto, among others, at his press conference ahead of the Ligue 1 opener against Toulouse.
The France coach stressed that the Brazilian PAOK midfielder could possibly even make the team’s squad (for now). His transfer has not yet been announced but it is estimated that he will train on Saturday.
“He has arrived in Nantes (ss together with Marquinios, another Nantes acquisition) and the process of document exchange and medical examination is progressing. If everything goes well, he will train tomorrow. Having trained with his previous team, he is expected to be included in the squad for Sunday’s game as well‘ said Nant characteristically.
