Outrage at Laszlo Boloni’s homophobic comment: “We played like idiots”
France were rocked by homophobic comments made by Metz midfielder Kevin Entoram at half-time against Marseille, who said the side were playing like a “bastard”. He later apologized.
Marseille took the lead in the 2nd minute and scored against Metz in the 14th minute to take the lead in the dressing room at half-time.
The Mets’ performance was not good, as was the team’s midfielder Kevin Endoram, to complain during the break and to talk to reporters.
The France midfielder took part in the standard Ligue 1 blitz interview on French television and shocked everyone by calling himself and his team-mates a homophobic ‘pussy’.
“We lack character. Forgive the term, but that’s how we play.” you bastard We’re afraid to play the ball.”
Of course, his homophobic statement did not go unnoticed, but it did trigger a flood of comments on social media and French television. After the game, he publicly apologized for his placement:
“I apologize if I’ve hurt anyone. I didn’t target anyone, I spoke out of anger. I shouldn’t have said that. I just want to apologize.”
