Strasbourg maintained victory over Lyon until the 90th minute, when Carl Toko Ekampi equalized 1-1, a result that leaves both sides far from their Ligue 1 goals.
THAT Strasbourg prepared to celebrate a win that kept them in the Champions League race, but Carl Toko Ekampi equalized in the 90s 1-1 for Lyon, who equalized in the 31st Ligue 1 game.
The game was fairly even and it took an oligarchy of “Gon” defense until Ibrahima Sissoko scored in the 20th minute. Anthony Lopez’s departure through injury added to the problems for the visitors, who however scored a goal with Moussa Dembele at the end of the first part.
The balance was maintained in both games, with both teams having good times, but towards the end the hosts drew strength from the fanatical crowd to finish Lyon at home. However, a counterattack and a cross from the right landed the ball with Toko Ekampi, who scored to make it 1-1.
